Charlotte currently lives in Leipzig and works with vocal teacher Neil Semer (NYC).

Her first stage experiences were made at a very early age with the Children Choir of Opera de Paris in productions such as La Bohème and Carmen on the stage of Opera Bastille and Opera Garnier. She sings as a young soloist during international tours in the United States and Greece under the direction of Francis Bardot and in Paris under the Baton of famous conductors such as Maestri Seiji Osawa, Cyril Diederich and Bernard Thomas.
Charlotte studies Music Theater,  Jazz and Acting before studying Electroacoustic Music composition simultaneously to her voice studies in Conservatoire de Bordeaux. 
She continues her opera voice training in Prof. Carola Guber's class in the Hochschule für Musik und Theater "Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy" in 2017 in Leipzig. She also composes for dance performances in Berlin at the Ufer studios and in Leipzig for theater productions at the Schaubühne Lindenfels.
Season 2019/20 she joins the new Bielefelder Studio in Stadttheater Bielefeld.
Charlotte has participated in masterclasses and/ or solo coachings with Hedwig Fassbender, Carola Guber and Claudia Eder​​​​​​​
In 2018 she performs Nireno in Giulio Cesare in Egitto of Händel under the baton of Matthias Foremny and Orlofsky in Die Fledermaus in Israël with the Ashdod Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Stefan Zekic (Belgrade Opera) as well as the 2. Adelige Waise in Der Rosenkavalier of R. Strauss under the baton of Ulf Schirmer at Oper Leipzig. 
In 2019 she performs with the Orchestre Bel'Arte in Paris in the mezzo role of Rossini's the Stabat Mater and in June in the musical Nunsense of Dan Goggin as Sister Mary Leo directed by Mathias Winter. Later in summer she sings for the Altenburger Musikfestival with the Cappuccino Salonorchester and performs  Romeo’s role in Bellini’s I Capuleti e i Montecchi with the PKOW Orchestra under the baton of Christian Fitzner.
She performs Dorothy in Der Zauberer von Oz at Theater Bielefeld before Covid-19 unfortunately interrupts the season.
Season 2020/21 she debuts the role of Das Mädchen (Greta Thunberg) in the Contemporary Opera film production All days for Future under the direction of Robert Lehmeier and the musical direction of Julian Wolf.


Charlotte de Montcassin is one of the founding members of the Ensemble il Varco
Their debut concert "Speranza!" in 2023 aimed to open a dialogue between the exhibition of the renowned painter Katrin Brause and evolved around the notion of hope in relation to the six basic affects held by René Descartes: admiration, love, hatred, desire, joy and sadness.
